The Wedding Party

Zoë Fuller

Maid of Honor

Zoë and I have known each other since 2011 when I started working at Smithbucklin, where we became fast friends. We've laughed, traveled, cried, and sloughed through the ups and downs of life for over a decade together. She taught me how to pull off a jaunty scarf and she was the first person to call me after my dad passed away. There are too many stories I could tell about our adventures, which have included a bumpy bus ride to Montréal, impressively underwhelming sandwiches in Scotland, running up and down San Francisco hills at breakneck speeds, and lots and lots of wine (which may or may not have been a contributing factor in those aforementioned escapades -- who can say?). She lives in Knoxville, TN now and while I don't get to see her as often as I would like, she's my favorite person to ramble to on the phone for two plus hours. If you were to look up the phrase "Ride or Die," there's definitely a picture of Zoë, and her outfit is on point.

Meg Czaikoski

Bridesmaid

Meg is a former coworker too. She accidentally asked for more work, which is a very Meg thing to do once you get to know her, and thus, we found ourselves thrown together for a work event in 2019. A longstanding theme in all of my friendships is "drinking wine and crying" and Meg and I quickly bonded over being adoptees, our ardent (yet futile) pilgrimage to perfectionism, and the hilarious noise her cat Frank makes in the middle of the night as he drops a spring toy on your head. She lives in Alexandria, VA. And not to bury the lede, but Meg is also the reason I met Dylan! After I returned to DC following my COVID sojourn in Texas, Meg met me for beers at a local brewery. On our third beer, she took my phone and announced, "It's time for you to start dating again! Let's get you back on Hinge!" I matched with Dylan less than a week later...and the rest, as they say, is history!

Meredith Weiss

Bridesmaid

Meredith is my soon-to-be sister-in-law! She's married to Dylan's brother Gavin and they have two adorable boys -- Everett (3) and Beau (10 mos.). She is exactly who you want in your corner rooting for you, particularly when you're feeling indecisive or are dreading trying on the umpteenth bad dress at your first wedding dress appointment (thanks, Mere!). In a family drowning in boys, I can always count on Meredith to offer me a mimosa and be a safe haven for any Dylan-related eye rolling -- the latter being a rare occurrence, I'm sure! She lives in Chevy Chase, MD.

Linera Robbins

Bridesmaid

Linera is married to Dylan's best friend Andy and we became friends via Dylan, forever solidified via a double date to DC's annual beer festival Snallygaster! She is part of our friend group's book club and to-date has picked the book that I have enjoyed the most (Rules of Civility by Amor Towles because yes, I could feel you wondering). When Dylan and I shared the news about our engagement, Linera replied, "If higher powers exist, they heard me when I wished for you, Sarah, to stay in Dylan's life, after we met for the first time." This, of course, was incredibly sweet and apparently made Dylan cry, which I didn't see because I picked the most inopportune time to leave the room! Linera's mission, should she choose to accept it, is to make Dylan cry again over something sweet, but I have to be in the room this time! She lives in Gaithersburg, MD.

Andy Robbins

Best Man

Andy and I became instant friends when we first met at RIT in 2010. We went to school together, we lived together, we work together, we regularly played racquetball together, we once shaved our heads together, and we have successfully gotten ourselves out of five escape rooms. When you need to take your contacts out but have habanero on your hands, Andy is the kind of guy you trust to stick his fingers into your eyes to get the job done (everyone has their own unique college experiences). For coffee, tech, and life quandaries, Andy will always be my first call (outside of my beloved fiancée, of course (Sarah definitely did not add this)). He lives in Gaithersburg, MD and is married to Sarah's bridesmaid Linera.

Gavin Weiss

Groomsman

Absolutely one of my two favorite brothers. Gavin is a great cook, a great dad, a great brother, and he is fantastic at winning random prizes online (an evolution from Gavin winning every radio contest growing up). Gavin and I have seen Radiohead three times, including a legendary performance during a torrential downpour, for which Gavin drove me and spent hours stuck in traffic (worth it!). Gavin married my wonderful sister-in-law, Meredith, and they brought my nephews (the best nephews) Everett and Beau into the world. He lives in Chevy Chase, MD.

Justin Moy

Groomsman

Moments after I met Andy, I met Justin. We played soccer, and I accidentally hit him with the soccer ball in a place on his body that guys do not appreciate being hit. Somehow we're still friends. We've even lived together for a few years! Justin has long been my go-to for talking movies and tv, but in 2020 shined as my fitness buddy. Without him, who knows if I'd have had that trademark bod that Sarah fell in love with! As an X-Files junkie, Justin hosts an X-Files episode online every week to watch with friend/neighbor Tyler, Marc, and me–a five-year commitment. Justin lives in NYC.

Marc Sciarrino

Groomsman

What can I say about a guy who I knew throughout most of college as "Skinny Pete," just because he had bet someone he could make the name stick? If there's anyone who can complete a sentence for me when I'm making a stupid reference, it's Marc. Marc and I bond over comedy podcasts, Psych (you know that's right), and we play a lot of Rocket League together. Perhaps most notably, Marc and I cannot resist getting into illogical verbal fights often, only to immediately make up and forget what ridiculous thing we were fighting about. Marc enjoys spending his time reading AI-generated fan fiction about his Rocket League alter ego, Marc the Merc.

The Good Reverend Jared Weiss

Groomsman -&- Officiant

Absolutely one of my two favorite brothers. He lives in Washington, DC.
